Evolution of a Lancer

According to most sources, the word evolution means the change of something over a period of time. For our project, this involves the transformation of a normal Lancer to it's glorified brother, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. Once day my dads friend called to say that they stumbled upon a complete Evo IV in their surplus yard back in Japan. His friend then took videos of him driving the car and sent them to my dad to show that the car is in good running condition.

Upon inspection of the vid we noticed that the car must have had encountered an accident as the hood and front bumper of the car was torn and dented in several places however we still decided to get the unit as it was in perfect running condition.

The unit was then shipped to the Philippines and arrived late 2009. Upon visiting and inspecting the unit I noticed that the cars seats and side skirts were missing. It also included a unique wing not the stock evo 4. The unit was then stock in our place up north and found no action until mid 2010.

Since we were missing a couple of panels as they were dented I decided to go for the muscle look and opted to go for the evo VI exterior as I liked the beefier panels.

To be continued . . . .
