Evolution of a Lancer ..updates

Its been a while since I last posted something about "Happy Lemon". After driving the car for a couple of weeks, I decided that it was time to upgrade the engine a bit.

First in the list was an intercooler and pipings change which was supplied by 662 performance depot. The intercooler was slightly bigger than stock, enough to fill up most of the bumper which beefed up the front face of the car.

The rubber and stock steel pipings were replaced with 2.5" aluminum pipes that came with the kit. Since we were already working on the engine piping, we decided to change the intake and pipes and added a sard r2d2 BOV.

Fremuff did an excellent job fabricating the needed steel work. I was very satisfied with the workmanship. There was a slight challenge though relocating the battery. I guess solution here is to get a smaller unit.

Replaced as well the stock radiator hoses with parts from Dynamics which were supplied by 662 as well.

Stayed tuned for the next update as Happy Lemon gets an external upgrade. Thanks to 662 performance depot, Dynamics and Fremuff.
